There are many reasons people need help paying there rent, mortgage, utility bills, or other neccesarry expenses.
As most of us are aware there are alot of people who have lost there jobs or have reduced hours because of the current economic status. Things may be changing, but should we leave the people who being affected now behind. No there are many thousands of people who need assistance with paying there bills.
Why can assisting strugling families help the economy. Well many of these people cannot pay there mortgage, which can cause there home to be foreclosed. That causes the bank to loose money, which eventually merges with another bank , and cuts jobs due to the merger. If people cannot pay there rent , the landlord cannot pay his own expenses. Utility companies need the money to pay there employees, restore power during an outage, help save the enviroment with new smart grid and green technology.
Poverty can effect everybody. When your employer goes out of business that hard earned salary isnt there anymore. When you are used to a certain level of income , it is hard to adjust yourself to the decrease in cash flow.
If you dont adjust yourself quick enough, you may found yourself struggling very hard. When you cant pay all the mortgage, car payment, gorcery. or utility bill which one are you going to let slide. They are all important. You need a place to live, you need transportation to work, or find work, gotta eat, and cant cook or live comfortably without electricity, so how do you chose?
